It's been a while

Update time. I know it's definitely been a while since I've let everyone know what's going on. I don't even know who reads my blog, but here it goes. So basically things are drastically changing...again. I've already told you we will be transferring to Hawaii. We still don't have an exact date which is a little stressful and frustrating. I'm wanting to come home next month so it would be nice to have a date so we can start planning our trip home and buy plane tickets. I hope we can plan it right. I'm hoping I can arrange it where the Navy packs up our things and ships it to Hawaii. While we're visiting home, our things can be in Hawaii waiting for us to arrive. Then we'll fly from home to Hawaii. I don't want to fly from Washington to Indiana to Washington to Hawaii. Too much. So then once we fly to Hawaii, our things will be there, we can go pick up our cars and have transportation to look for a place to live. So we've decided, or more like I've decided, that we're not living in Navy housing because they won't give us more than a 2 bedroom since we're only going to have one child. I want a 3 bedroom. We also need at least 1 1/2 bath. If we don't live in Navy housing, Ryan gets housing allowance. We've already done a little research and found 3 possible places to live. So once we get there, we can go check them out. My reasoning for wanting a 3 bedroom is simple. One bedroom for Ryan and me, one bedroom used for the nursery, and one guest room. Ryan doesn't see why the baby can't share a room with my spare bed. Um, no. He thinks it's ok for guests to pay $800-900 on a plane ticket then pay money for a hotel. Sorry, I disagree. So, we're getting a 3 bedroom. It makes sense. I'm hoping we can get 2 bathroom so our guests can have their own bathroom. Anyways, that's the plan. I'm wanting to give my current place of employment at least 3 weeks notice. That's another reason it would be extremely helpful to know when exactly we'll be leaving here. So I've already been lining up travel jobs. I've contacted a couple travel companies that deal only with Hawaii. I've told them I don't want any ER positions. I'm over the ER. I only want labor and delivery. One of the companies I've spoken with said they get more labor and delivery openings than they do ER. So that's good news for me. I'm hoping by the time I'm ready to move to Hawaii, there will be a position open for me. Keeping my fingers crossed. So, I've made up my mind that I'm going to rent my house out. I had an offer a couple weeks ago. It was way below the asking price. I counter offered, but they rejected it. I'm coming to the realization that my house is not going to sell any time soon. So this is why I have decided to rent it out. Ryan is worried he won't be able to make all the payments when I'm off on maternity leave. I have to put us first. I don't want him to stress out over bills. I will try to save up money for maternity to help out with bills. I really don't want to rent, but I have no other options. I will rent it for a couple of years and try putting it back on the market. I think that's it for now. I'm 14 weeks pregnant today. Our baby is the size of a lemon. It's all very exciting. I'm not really showing yet. I haven't gained any weight. Ryan said I look like someone who works out but drinks a lot of beer. So basically I have a beer gut. Ok, that's it. We're moving to Hawaii in a couple of months. We're coming home sometime in August. I'm still carrying a child. My house is still on the market, but I will be taking it off soon to rent it out. That's it. Any questions, just ask. We love you all and can't wait to visit soon.
